Android - new algorithm on wifi channel scanning

I have two questions:

1. I want to develop a new wireless channel scan algorithm on android devices. Android supports function this is getScanResults() which in WifiManager class. Also how may I change getScanResults() function. I want to use with passive channel scanning algorithm and unicast channal scanning algorithm
2. I want develop a android application sending Probe Request and listen probe response.
